Since its introduction in the year 1994, service tax is magnetizing controversies and disputes. Whirlpool created by the introduction of Negative List has not yet addressed fully and we are at dawn of the Goods & Service Tax era. As this may not be enough, now Government of India is trying to give business friendly touch to the service tax law by amendments in the penalties and related procedure though Budget 2015.

To bring the knowledge of the members up to date and to make the members conscious about issues and updates in the service tax law at national level, Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI is organizing a dedicated Residential Refresher Course (RRC) on Service Tax each year. To keep this momentum, branch has organized 3^rd RRC on Service Tax which is scheduled to be held on 10^th to 12^th July, 2015 (Friday to Sunday) at Hotel Trident, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
