As you are aware, the Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI has launched a new initiative for the year 2014.

Accordingly, Practice Groups in core areas of professional interest have been given a shape. The idea is to create platform for Members, whether in practice or otherwise, where they can meet, interact and share valuable views, thoughts and information. It would go a long way for the larger interest of CA fraternity.

The Ahmedabad Branch announces a Study Group on the subject of “Information Technology Practice Study Group”

Now a days all the system be it formal, be it informal, be it private or public, government or non government are driven by technology. The prime motto of this study group is to bring to close all the professional colleagues to each other, to share the knowledge and experience to use the various mode of information technology in practice. This study group will be used as platform where we can discuss the various problems and try to find out the solutions.

As a part of this initiative, the Study Group proposes to hold 8 to 10 programmes in a year on various topics related to the subject which may generate 16 to 20 CPE hours.

The findings, suggestions and conclusions derived by these group shall also be forwarded to the Institute and other authorities for necessary actions at their end.

The Registration of Members in each of the groups mentioned above shall be restricted to limited members only looking to the space constraints.

The Registration Fee is Rs. 1,000/- per member which may be paid in ONLINE or CASH or by cheque to be drawn in favour of ‘Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI’.

Since limited members are to be taken, the Registration will be accepted strictly on ‘First Come First served basis’.
