· Members are invited to join Series on Service Tax organized at Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI.

· Commencing on 28th April, 2016 - 5.00 pm

· Registration fee is Rs. 1200/-

· For young members having membership number from 138470 will be entitled for concessional fee of Rs. 800/-

 -         Definitions & Declared Services,

-         Exemptions - Negative list,

-         Valuation - Abatement, RCM,

-         Point of Taxation, Place of Provision of Service Rules, CENVAT Rules,

-         Works Contract, Construction, Builder & Developer Services, Procedures.

 o   Program is structured to include Presentations as well as Group Discussions

o   Presentations ( Lectures ) by eminent faculties across the India

o   Group Discussions on intricate aspects of Service Tax i.e. Works Contract Services, Exemptions, Abatements and Declared Services and CENVAT Credit Rules

o   Program will provide dedicated platform to the members to interact with the faculties so as to address their real time issues and questions.

o   Separate time slots will be given for questions and answers 

· The purpose of the series is to impart expert level knowledge to the members with the insight on intricacy of Service Tax and to strengthen members in the field of Indirect Taxation.
